INSEE Cement Sri Lanka is the country’s leading and only fully integrated cement manufacturer. It offers a comprehensive construction solutions and products portfolio to meet the increasing demands of Sri Lanka’s construction landscape.

An industry pioneer that has shaped Sri Lanka’s skyline over the years, INSEE Cement continues to drive the country’s building and construction industry. Its strong investment in innovation and R&D into high-quality blended cement products and sustainable building material has resulted in the construction of many low-carbon and future-ready buildings.

With a local production capacity of over 3.1 million tons, INSEE Cement Sri Lanka is powered by a 600-strong team spread across a growing local ecosystem. These include key manufacturing facilities in Puttalam and Galle, a cement terminal in Colombo, a ready-mix batching plant and warehouses, as well as an island-wide dealer network. The company’s industry-transforming innovation and collaboration space also keeps Sri Lanka abreast with global advancements.

The INSEE i2i Collaboration Space

Our dedicated centre of excellence for the development of new products and ideas promotes innovation and collaboration across the industry. We also remain committed to our responsibilities towards the environment, making continuous efforts to reduce carbon emissions across all our products and processes. Our ecofriendly INSEE SANSTHA was the country’s first cement product to receive Green Labelling Certification from the Green Building Council of Sri Lanka.

We have also introduced specialised, superior blended cement products that mitigate environmental impact, allowing local constructions to drastically reduce their carbon footprint. Our facilities also undergo continuous improvements in terms of energy efficiency. They currently utilise alternative fuels and raw material generated by INSEE Ecocycle Lanka (Private) Limited, our industrial waste management solutions arm.

The INSEE Building Materials segment is our newest business vertical. It offers high strength, performance, and also years of trust to customers who have long relied on the brand INSEE Sanstha.

INSEE Building Materials includes a wide range of Mortar products that perform a host of applications, ranging from large-scale infrastructure developments to homebuilding. These also offer improved performance and an elegant finish.

Alongside our own evolution, we invest in the advancement of all industry stakeholders, covering homebuilders, infrastructure developers, civil engineers and masons.
