Chandana Liyanage was appointed to the position of Chief Financial Officer on March 2023. He is a business transformation leader with over two decades of senior management experience in globally charged settings and complex operations demanding social astuteness and business acumen.

Chandana has extensive experience in strategic expansions, investments, setting up new businesses, M&A, business restructuring, fundraising, business transformation programs and implemented large- scale ERP-Digital processes. He is a driver of strategy, performance and sound financial guidance and has a diverse professional experience in Switzerland, India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, and Indonesia. Prior to his current role, Chandana held a number of key positions, including Senior Vice President Finance and Controlling at the Siam City Cement Public Company Ltd. in Thailand and as Regional Controller (South and East Asia region) in Holcim Ltd, based in Switzerland.

Chandana holds a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Southern Queensland in
Australia. He has also completed a Senior Leadership Programme at the International Institute of Management Development in Switzerland and is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and the Society of Certified Management Accountants in Sri Lanka.
