INSEE Mortar received Carbon Footprint Certification of Product
INSEE Mortar by Siam City Cement Public Company Limited received Carbon Footprint certificate for its products, INSEE Mortar no. 11, 13, 21 and 23, from Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (Public Organization: TGO) in September 2015.
Carbon Footprint of Products (CFP) takes into account the quantity of GHG emissions from each production unit throughout the whole life cycle (cradle-to-grave) of a product. Carbon footprint thus calculates the carbon dioxide equivalent (CO2eq) of the GHG emissions releasing from the raw material acquisition, manufacture, use, waste management and final disposal including related transports in all stages.
Additionally, INSEE Mortar no. 13 and 21 received another certificate of Carbon Footprint Reduction of Product (CFR) which is the label that demonstrated an achievement in reduction of the product's carbon footprint as required by the TGO's Carbon Labeling Program.
This certificate is to confirm that INSEE Mortar is the environmentally-friendly products.
