SCCC’s INSEE Green School Project awarded an honorary plaque by Royal Thai Police

Dr. Sunee Sornchaitanasuk (center), Independent Director and Chairperson of the Audit Committee at Siam City Cement Public Company Limited (SCCC), or INSEE, and other representatives of SCCC including Netiwat Umrod (3rd from left), Sustainable Development and Internal Communication Department Manager; Bhornpradhana Pramukchai (2nd from left), Corporate Communication, Media & PR Division Manager; and Natreudee Katintes (far left), CSR Specialist, took part in a ceremony where they were presented with a plaque in recognition of SCCC’s generosity toward the Border Patrol Police Headquarters under the jurisdiction of the Royal Thai Police. SCCC had built a border patrol police school to provide underprivileged children in remote areas with access to education. This CSR activity is part of “INSEE Green School” project that have been organized for 12 consecutive years. On hand at the ceremony to bestow the plaque upon the SCCC management was Pol. Lt. Gen. Kittharath Punpetch (3rd from right), Assistant Commissioner General. He was joined by his colleagues including Pol. Maj. Gen. Napol Boonprasit (2nd from right), Deputy Commissioner of Border Patrol Police; and Pol. Maj. Gen. Jakkrit Kruasunthornwanit (far right), Police Secretary. The ceremony was held recently at the Royal Thai Police Headquarters.

The newly built school, the 32rd in the project, is called 50 Years INSEE Border Patrol Police School (Baan Huay Krasan) located in Amnat Charoen’s Chanuman district.
