INSEE Ecocycle promotes waste management education at the Poon INSEE-Krungsri Foundation Border Patrol Police School (Ban Krai Kriang) on the occasion of the school inauguration presided over by Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn
Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn graciously presided over the official opening of the Poon INSEE-Krungsri Foundation Border Patrol Police School (Ban Krai Kriang) in Sri Sawat District, Kanchanaburi Province on July 21, 2025. The school building was established through a collaboration between Siam City Cement Public Company Limited and Krungsri Foundation under the “Green School” project, now in its 16th year.
On this occasion, INSEE Ecocycle Company Limited, a subsidiary of Siam City Cement, supported student learning in waste management through the “Think Waste Wise” program. This initiative aims to promote knowledge and instill habits of waste segregation from an early age.
INSEE Ecocycle established a waste bank at the school, allowing students to learn correct waste segregation practices. Students can accumulate points by depositing sorted waste and redeem them for rewards. The company also donated a food waste decomposer, which converts food waste into bio-soil, and provided educational materials on waste segregation to enhance understanding and foster sustainable environmental behavior within the school.
With these efforts, INSEE Ecocycle continues to take steps toward encouraging sustainable waste management education, helping pave the way for lasting positive change in society.
