Siam City Cement Donates 125 Tons of Cement to Develop Construction Workforce in Thailand
Mr. Netiwat Umrod, Head of Corporate Communications of Siam City Cement Public Company Limited (right), represented the Company in presenting 125 tonnes of "INSEE Super" low-carbon cement to Mr. Somchat Supharee, Deputy Director-General of the Department of Skills Development, Ministry of Labour (left).
The donation will support the 2026 Construction Skills Training Program and the "One Village, One Multi-skilled Technician" initiative in the pilot area of Saraburi Province. This contribution marks the continuation of a 27-year partnership between Siam City Cement and the Department of Skill Development in enhancing the capabilities of construction workers and community multi-skilled technicians.
The programs aim to create employment opportunities, generate sustainable income, and help reduce unemployment at the community level. To date, more than 27,000 trainees have successfully completed the training programs.
The handover ceremony was held at the Department of Skill Development, Ministry of Labour.
