SCCC meets with Industry Minister to discuss to low carbon cement and greenhouse gas emission goal
Mr. Montri Nithikul, CEO of Thailand Cement Business at Siam City Cement Public Company Limited (SCCC) (4th from right) together with Ms. Suchintana Viraratt, Chief Executive Officer of INSEE Ecocycle, a subsidiary of Siam City Cement Public Company Limited (4th from left), and management recently met with Ms. Pimphattra Wichaikul, Minister of Industry (3rd from right) and Mr. Wanchai Panomchai, Secretary General of Thai Industrial Standards Institute (1st right) at the office of the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Industry. SCCC shared about their commitment to net zero greenhouse gas emissions by producing low carbon cement, or ‘hydraulic cement’, under the Thai Industrial Standard 2594. This strategy is implemented in support of Thailand's goal to be a Net Zero GHG emissions producer.
