SCCC Receives Thailand Sustainability Investment Award 2020
Siam City Cement Public Company Limited (SCCC) led by Siva Mahasandana (center), Director and Chief Executive Officer and Yongyut Sangangam (far left), Head of Corporate Reputation; recently received “Thailand Sustainability Investment (THSI) Award 2020” from Dr. Pakorn Peetathawatchai (2nd left), President of the Stock Exchange of Thailand. SCCC has been categorized in the listed company group with market capitalization between 30-100 billion baht for second consecutive year. This reflects SCCC’s commitment in pursuing sustainable development into business practices.

The THSI 2020 list has been used as quality investment information and a decision-making tool for investors. It also aims at encouraging listed companies to integrate Environment, Social, Governance (ESG) aspects in their business operation. The criteria that qualified firms scored well include aligning vision and policy to promote internal innovation creation; solving climate change problem by enhancing energy efficiency; and disclosing social and environmental policy and performance to stakeholders.
