SCCC had the great honor of welcoming Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn to officially inaugurate the "Poon INSEE- Krungsri Foundation Border Patrol Police School" in Srisawat District, Kanchanaburi.
Her Royal Highness graciously granted an audience to members of the SCCC's Board and Management, including: Dr. Sunee Sornchaitanasuk – Independent Director and Chairperson of the Audit Committee, Khun Montri Nithikul – CEO of Thailand Cement Business, Khun Duangporn Boosarawongse – Chief Human Resources Officer, and Khun Bruno Fux – CEO of INSEE Ecocycle, together with INSEE volunteer employees, along with the government officials, school teachers, students and the public.
This new school is part of the INSEE Green School Project, now in its 16th year. Over the years, this program has supported 33 schools and more than 60,000 students across Thailand, improving their equal access to education—the core foundation for building a better life.
This Poon INSEE–Krungsri Foundation School in Kanchanaburi was made possible through the generous co-support of the Krungsri Foundation, which contributed THB 3.5 million for construction. INSEE Ecocycle Thailand also contributed a food waste composter machine, promoting environmental awareness and practical sustainability practices among students and school teachers.
Aligned with our INSEE Sustainability Ambition 2030, this initiative reflects our long-standing commitment to community empowerment, education, and inclusive stakeholder engagement.
We are deeply honored by Her Royal Highness’s presence and inspired to continue building brighter futures for children in border areas.
