Siam City Cement and Customers Join Forces to Support Education for Children through the Phubodin Foundation Under Royal Patronage

Siam City Cement Public Company Limited represented by Dr. Sunee Sornchaithanasuk, Chairperson of the Audit Committee, and Mr. Montri Nithikul, Chief Executive Officer – Cement Business Thailand, together with two customers, Mr. Sunpetch Slisatakorn, Managing Director of Yong Concrete Plc., and Miss Phattraporn Jiraphatthananan, Deputy Managing Directorof Thananan Hardware Co., Ltd. provided 137 sets of student desks and chairs, with a total value of THB 164,400 for Ban Hin Tung school, Sangkhla Buri District, Kanchanaburi Province, in support of the Education Fund under the Phubodin Foundation Under Royal Patronage.
The handover ceremony was graciously presided over by H.E. General Paiboon Koomchaya, Privy Councillor and Vice Chairman of the Phubodin Foundation, with the presence of Mrs. Jirapha Sindhunava, Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Justice and Assistant Secretary-General of the Phubodin Foundation together at the Office of His Majesty’s Privy Council.
The donation aims to improve the learning environment by providing students with appropriate and safe learning facilities, while promoting the health, well-being, and quality of life of children in remote areas.
Over the years, Siam City Cement has continuously collaborated with and supported the initiatives of the Phubodin Foundation Under Royal Patronage through various projects. These include providing cement for road construction in remote areas of Kanchanaburi Province and supporting the construction of a kindergarten building at Suntornvej Border Patrol Police School, Sangkhla Buri District, Kanchanaburi Province. These initiatives aim to improve the quality of life and create greater educational opportunities for children in border communities. The kindergarten building was officially handed over and inaugurated by the Privy Councillor in July 2026.
This continued support reflects Siam City Cement Group’s commitment to creating shared value for communities and stakeholders, with education recognized as a key foundation for improving quality of life and creating opportunities for children in underserved areas.
