Siam City Cement and Siam Cement (Kaeng Khoi) Sign MoU on Joint Development of Sustainable Limestone Quarry
In reinforcing its commitment to corporate social responsibility and sustainable development throughout its 50 years of business, Siam City Cement Public Company Limited (SCCC) or INSEE led by director and CEO Siva Mahasandana (2nd left), recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Siam Cement (Kaeng Khoi) Co., Ltd led by managing director Surachi Nimlaor (far left), on a joint development of sustainable limestone quarry operated in accordance with the principles of good corporate governance as well as environment and communities safety. The joint development was supported by Thai Cement Manufacturers Association (TCMA).
Joining to witness and to congratulate the joint development agreement were Kobchai Sungsitthisawad (4th left), Permanent secretary of Ministry of Industry, Poongboon Pongthong (4th right), Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment. Also present were Sommai Techawan (3rd right), Director General of the Department of Mineral Resources; Wisanu Tubtieng (2nd right), Director-General of the Department of Primary Resources and Mines; Chana Poomee (3rd left), Chairman of TCMA and Dr. Raweewan Bhuridej (far right), Secretary-General of the Office of Natural Resources and Environmental Policy and Planning. The event was held at the Department of Mineral Resources.
