Ayman Dewedar
Manufacturing Director
Ayman Dewedar joined INSEE Lanka as Manufacturing Director on 1 August 2026, bringing over 30 years of international experience in cement manufacturing, operational excellence, process optimisation, sustainability, and organisational transformation.
Prior to joining INSEE Lanka, he held senior leadership positions with Lafarge, Holcim, and LafargeHolcim, leading manufacturing and operational excellence initiatives across the Middle East and North Africa. His expertise spans cement manufacturing, industrial performance management, asset reliability, continuous improvement, alternative fuels, sustainability, and talent development.
In his current role, Ayman leads INSEE Lanka’s manufacturing operations, with a focus on operational excellence, safety, environmental performance, and sustainable manufacturing, supporting the company’s long-term growth and performance.
He holds an MBA in Total Quality Management from the Arab Academy for Science and Technology and a BSc in Chemistry from Alexandria University. He is also a certified Holcim Process Performance Engineer and has completed numerous international leadership and technical development programmes throughout his career.
