INSEE AND SACA STRENGTHEN COOPERATION ON CONSTRUCTION SOLID WASTE RECYCLING IN HO CHI MINH CITY
On September 9, 2026, INSEE Vietnam and the Ho Chi Minh City Association of Construction and Building Materials (SACA) held a working session and signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), officially establishing a cooperation framework to jointly research, promote, and implement the Construction Solid Waste Recycling Project in Ho Chi Minh City.
The working session marked a new milestone in SACA and INSEE’s efforts to promote construction waste recycling in Ho Chi Minh City. Moving beyond the exchange of strategic directions, both parties agreed to focus on specific tasks, identify a pilot model, and gradually put recycling solutions into practice.
As part of the cooperation, INSEE will join a joint working group with SACA to share technical expertise, practical implementation experience, and successful models in the management, treatment, and recycling of construction solid waste.
In parallel, the two parties will collaborate to assess the feasibility and develop a pilot model for construction solid waste recycling in Ho Chi Minh City, with the aim of establishing a model that is economically viable, sustainable, and scalable for broader implementation in the future.
