In mid-December 2025, INSEE Vietnam collaborated with the An Giang Provincial Military Command, the An Giang Provincial Border Guard Command, the People’s Committee of Kien Luong Commune, the Hon Chong Port Border Guard Station, and Border Guard Squadron 2 to organize a Community Healthcare Program: Free Medical Check-ups and Medicine Distribution for disadvantaged elderly residents in Kien Luong Commune, An Giang Province. The program is part of INSEE’s annual practical social responsibility initiatives, aiming to accompany local communities in promoting social welfare and improving the quality of life for vulnerable groups, especially elderly people in areas with limited access to healthcare services.

As many elderly residents in the area continue to face chronic health issues, mobility limitations, and limited opportunities for regular medical examinations, the program was implemented with the goal of creating a timely healthcare “destination” to help detect common health risks early, provide suitable healthcare consultation, and reduce the burden of initial treatment costs for local people. During the program, more than 550 elderly residents received direct consultations and examinations from professional military medical teams, including general health check-ups, nutrition and lifestyle advice, as well as monitoring for signs requiring further attention. At the same time, free medicines were distributed to support timely treatment and improve the effectiveness of home healthcare. Activities were organized systematically, ensuring clear procedures for registration, medical examinations, and medicine usage guidance, helping elderly participants feel reassured and comfortable throughout the process.

Alongside the medical activities, INSEE Vietnam also distributed 300 gift packages, each including 10 kilograms of rice, as a practical gesture of encouragement for disadvantaged households. Though simple, these gifts carried meaningful messages of sharing and care, reflecting genuine attention to the daily living needs of local residents and providing additional support during a period when many families continue to face hardships. Through these efforts, the program went beyond healthcare assistance, aiming to enhance community welfare and inspire greater confidence among elderly residents and their families in everyday life.

A representative of INSEE Vietnam shared that the company has always considered community responsibility an integral part of its sustainable development journey in Vietnam. Guided by the spirit of “sharing and companionship,” INSEE prioritizes programs that create long-term impact, are based on practical local needs, and are implemented together with organizations possessing expertise, experience, and strong community engagement capabilities. This community healthcare initiative demonstrates the company’s efforts to connect corporate resources with local organizations in order to optimize implementation efficiency and ensure timely and appropriate support for beneficiaries. The INSEE representative emphasized that positive and sustainable changes often begin with small but timely actions, especially when directed toward those who require greater care and attention, such as disadvantaged elderly people.

For INSEE Vietnam, community healthcare remains one of the key focuses of its CSR activities, contributing to improving the quality of life in areas where the company operates. In addition to healthcare support programs, INSEE continuously promotes initiatives aimed at sustainable development, harmonizing economic growth with social responsibility and environmental protection. In this spirit, the program in Kien Luong Commune was implemented as a concrete effort to strengthen connections with local communities, reinforce community trust, and work together with local authorities to build a stronger social welfare foundation for the future.
