Recently, as Vietnam and Thailand commemorate 50 years of diplomatic relations (1976-2026), INSEE Vietnam actively supported a series of meaningful community and cultural exchange activities organized by the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Ho Chi Minh City and its partners. Through its practical contributions to local communities and initiatives that foster cultural connections, INSEE continues to strengthen its role as a bridge between the two countries while promoting the shared values of sustainable development, social responsibility, and long-term collaboration.

The year 2026 marks a significant milestone in bilateral relations as Vietnam and Thailand celebrate five decades of partnership, growth, and shared progress. From the establishment of diplomatic ties to the elevation of their relationship to a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership (CSP), the two countries have continuously expanded cooperation across a wide range of areas, including trade, investment, education, culture, and people-to-people exchanges. Throughout this journey, the Thai business community in Vietnam has played an important role in advancing economic cooperation and fostering greater mutual understanding between the peoples of both nations. With more than 30 years of operations in Vietnam, INSEE is proud to have been part of this enduring connection and to contribute to the strengthening of ties between the two countries.

INSEE also supported the Vietnam–Thailand People-to-People Exchange Program held in Dong Nai City. The event was honored by the presence of Ms. Wiraka Moodhitaporn, Consul-General of Thailand in Ho Chi Minh City, together with local government representatives, members of the Thai Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Vietnam (ThaiCham), friendship organizations, and representatives of the Thai business community operating in Vietnam. More than an opportunity to strengthen ties between the peoples of the two countries, the program also served as a platform for businesses to join hands in delivering meaningful initiatives that benefit local communities.

As part of the program, 300 elderly residents received prescription glasses and care packages aimed at supporting their well-being and improving their quality of life. Together with other Thai businesses, INSEE contributed 1,500 kilograms of rice to the 300 gift packages distributed to local community members. While modest in nature, these gifts carried meaningful practical value, reflecting a spirit of compassion, social responsibility, and care for those in need. The initiative also helped promote shared humanitarian values and further strengthen the bonds of friendship between the people of Vietnam and Thailand through tangible, meaningful acts of support and community engagement.
Beyond its community initiatives, INSEE continued to partner with the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Ho Chi Minh City through the Thai Festival in Ho Chi Minh City 2026 – an annual cultural celebration that has become highly anticipated by the public. Serving as an important cultural bridge, the festival offers Vietnamese audiences a unique opportunity to experience the richness of Thailand’s people, arts, cuisine, culture, traditions, and heritage. In this landmark year marking the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Thailand, the festival holds even greater significance as a vibrant platform for cultural exchange, people-to-people connections, and the celebration of the enduring achievements that have been built through decades of friendship and cooperation between the two nations.

This marked the second consecutive year that INSEE joined the Thai Festival as a supporting partner. Beyond sponsoring gifts for the event, INSEE showcased an interactive booth that welcomed nearly 500 visitors over the course of the festival. Through a series of engaging activities, attendees gained insights into INSEE’s long-standing presence and growth in Vietnam, its sustainable construction material solutions, and the Ecocycle waste co-processing platform, while also exploring the company’s key initiatives designed to generate lasting value for communities and the environment.
One of the highlights of the INSEE booth was a collection of handcrafted Leprionnia grass products made by the Phu My Women’s Cooperative in An Giang Province. Rich in local cultural identity, these products not only showcased the beauty of Vietnam’s traditional handicrafts but also helped tell a broader story of ecosystem conservation and biodiversity protection in the Mekong Delta. Through supporting the promotion of these products, INSEE aims to create additional livelihood opportunities for local women while raising public awareness of the importance of nature conservation and sustainable development.

For INSEE, supporting activities commemorating the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Thailand is not only a privilege, but also a reflection of the company’s long-standing commitment to creating positive value for society. Throughout its journey in Vietnam, INSEE has remained dedicated to sustainable growth, placing people at the heart of its business while advancing initiatives that deliver tangible benefits to communities and the environment.
