INSEE VIETNAM IMPRESSIVE MILESTONE AT THE VIETNAM INDUSTRIAL PROPERTY FORUM 2026, HONORED AS AN “OUTSTANDING PROVIDERS OF GREEN INDUSTRIAL SOLUTIONS”

2026-10-05

Recently, INSEE Vietnam was honored to accompany the Vietnam Industrial Property Forum 2026 (VIPF 2026), organized by Finance & Investment Newspaper, with a focus on strategies for developing smart and sustainable industrial infrastructure. The event provided an opportunity for government agencies, experts, and the business community to exchange perspectives on orientations and solutions aimed at enhancing competitiveness and accelerating the green transition of industrial parks in Vietnam. At the forum, INSEE Vietnam not only shared practical perspectives on the circular economy and industrial symbiosis, but was also honored at the VIPF Green Future Awards 2026 in the category of “Outstanding Providers of Green Industrial Solutions 2026”

Participating in the dialogue session themed “Building Competitive Advantages for Next-Generation Industrial Parks,” Mr. Dao Nguyen Khanh – Head of Sustainability & Communications at INSEE Vietnam – shared practical insights from the company’s long-standing commitment to implementing the circular economy model. Accordingly, INSEE has gradually incorporated alternative raw materials such as steel slag from the steel industry and fly ash from thermal power plants, while also utilizing suitable waste streams as alternative fuels in its production process. This approach helps transform material streams that are considered waste by one industry into raw materials or fuel inputs for another, thereby optimizing resource utilization and promoting industrial symbiosis models.

Drawing on its operational experience, INSEE’s representative also put forward two recommendations to strengthen industrial symbiosis within the circular economy. First, industrial planning should be approached with a thorough understanding of value chains across different industries, enabling complementary factories to be strategically located in suitable areas. When linkages involving raw materials, by-products, and waste are considered from the planning stage, material flows can be connected more effectively while reducing logistics costs incurred during subsequent operations. In addition, the development of resource recovery facilities within or adjacent to industrial parks should be considered. These facilities could serve as hubs for receiving, sorting, and recovering industrial waste streams, and subsequently supplying suitable material streams to factories that can use them as raw material inputs. According to INSEE, establishing resource recovery infrastructure from the outset would provide an important foundation for connecting businesses within the same industrial ecosystem and improving resource efficiency.

In addition to material solutions, INSEE also introduced INSEE Ecocycle waste co-processing solution at the event. Through co-processing technology in cement kilns, suitable industrial and hazardous waste streams can be treated under high-temperature conditions while their energy value and/or mineral components are recovered and utilized in the cement manufacturing process. This solution helps reduce the demand for conventional fuels and raw materials while minimizing the generation of secondary waste from the treatment process. With its capabilities and extensive experience, INSEE Ecocycle aims to work alongside businesses operating in industrial parks in managing and treating suitable waste streams, contributing to more resource-efficient and sustainable waste management solutions.

In particular, as part of VIPF 2026, INSEE Vietnam was honored with the VIPF Green Future Awards 2026 in the category of “Outstanding Providers of Green Industrial Solutions 2026”. The award recognizes INSEE’s steadfast commitment to sustainable development, from applying circular economy principles to its production activities to providing advanced building material and waste treatment solutions for the business community. It also acknowledges INSEE’s efforts to optimize value chains, utilize alternative raw materials such as steel slag and fly ash, improve resource efficiency, and develop solutions aimed at reducing environmental impacts. The VIPF Green Future Award 2026 further reinforces INSEE’s commitment to providing green cement solutions and INSEE Ecocycle waste co-processing technology, contributing to the green transition of industrial parks and partner businesses. By connecting material solutions with waste management and treatment solutions, INSEE aims to contribute to the development of a circular industrial ecosystem in which resources are used more efficiently and material flows are connected throughout the value chain.

At INSEE’s exhibition area during the forum, its green cement solutions and INSEE Ecocycle co-processing technology attracted considerable interest from experts and business representatives. The exhibition also provided an opportunity for INSEE to engage directly with the business community and share solutions that can support resource optimization, waste management, and the gradual achievement of sustainable development goals.

With our brand philosophy “Build for Life”, INSEE Vietnam is committed to continuing to leverage its expertise in building materials, the circular economy, and waste treatment, while strengthening cooperation with the Government, regulatory authorities, and the business community to promote resource-efficient production, green industry, and sustainable development in Vietnam. The VIPF Green Future Awards 2026 marks a meaningful milestone and serves as further motivation for INSEE to continue innovating and implementing appropriate solutions, contributing to Vietnam’s green transition and its journey toward a circular economy.
