Recently, INSEE Vietnam, in collaboration with the Kien Luong Commune People’s Committee, Hon Chong Port Border Gate Border Guard Station, and a team of doctors from Nhan Hau International General Clinic in Ho Chi Minh City, organized a Community Healthcare Program in Kien Luong Commune, An Giang Province. The program provided 700 elderly residents with access to health check-ups and consultations supported by modern medical equipment, while continuing to foster INSEE’s spirit of care, responsibility, and connection with the community it has accompanied for nearly three decades.

As part of the program, 700 elderly residents in Kien Luong Commune received direct medical examinations and consultations covering a range of services, including electrocardiograms (ECG), ultrasound examinations, X-rays, and medical consultations on examination results. The comprehensive range of services enabled residents to assess their overall health, identify potential common health concerns at an early stage, and receive appropriate guidance from medical professionals on health management and care.

Beyond medical examinations, the program also placed emphasis on the experience and well-being of elderly participants throughout their visit. INSEE volunteers, together with firefighters and rescue personnel from Kien Luong Commune and officers from Hon Chong Port Border Gate Border Guard Station, provided direct assistance and guidance to the elderly throughout registration, transportation, and medical examinations. Following the check-ups, essential gift packages were also presented directly to residents, providing additional practical support and encouragement to local families.

The Community Healthcare Program is one of the initiatives that INSEE Vietnam has maintained annually in Kien Luong. Going beyond healthcare support, the program creates opportunities for the company, local authorities, public service forces, healthcare professionals, and volunteers to work together in fostering a safer, more connected community that places greater care and attention on those who need it most, particularly the elderly.

Through this initiative, INSEE Vietnam continues to reaffirm its commitment to responsible business development and the well-being of local communities. Maintaining community healthcare programs is also part of INSEE’s ongoing efforts to contribute to social well-being in communities surrounding its plant, while building long-term relationships with local authorities and residents.

A representative of INSEE Vietnam shared: “We believe that sustainable development is built not only on economic and environmental value, but also begins with caring for the health, well-being, and development of our communities. Through the Community Healthcare Program, INSEE aims to provide practical support to local residents, particularly the elderly, while continuing to work alongside local authorities in advancing social well-being initiatives.”

Guided by its brand promise, “Building Life,” and its commitment to “Leaving No One Behind,” INSEE Vietnam remains committed to implementing meaningful and long-term community programs. Through these efforts, INSEE aims to work alongside local authorities and residents to foster healthier, more connected, and more sustainable communities where everyone has the opportunity to receive the care and support they need.
