In the building materials industry, a company’s position is not defined solely by production output or market share, but is sustained through product quality, environmental stewardship, community responsibility, and the tangible values it creates for society. For INSEE Cement, more than three decades in the market represent a consistent journey toward sustainable development — reflected not only in its growth strategy, but also in every effort to innovate production, reduce environmental impact, and work alongside communities to build a better future for generations to come.
Along this journey, INSEE has steadily established itself as a pioneering enterprise in Vietnam’s building materials industry, not only by delivering high-quality cement solutions for construction projects, but also by promoting a new development mindset for the industry — one where growth goes hand in hand with emission reduction, business efficiency aligns with community value, and ESG principles are consistently embedded from strategy to operations. In 2025, INSEE was once again honored among the Top 100 Sustainable Businesses (CSI) organized by VCCI, while also receiving the Top 05 Pioneer Enterprises in Circular Economy and Emission Reduction award. These recognitions further reaffirm the company’s leading role in creating sustainable value for the construction sector and society at large.
One of the most important foundations behind INSEE’s reputation is its pioneering capability in green transformation. At a time when “green cement” is no longer merely a communication concept but a practical requirement of the modern construction market, INSEE stands among the few brands in Vietnam able to substantiate this commitment through internationally recognized certifications. INSEE’s cement product portfolio has been awarded the Green Label by the Singapore Green Building Council (SGBC). At the same time, INSEE became the first cement company in Vietnam to achieve the international Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) certification. These are not simply symbolic recognitions, but objective validations from reputable organizations confirming that INSEE products are aligned with green building assessment systems such as LEED, LOTUS, and Green Mark.

Importantly, INSEE’s brand credibility extends beyond certifications and is reinforced by measurable environmental performance. Currently, all INSEE cement products generate lower CO₂ emissions than conventional OPC cement. In particular, INSEE Power-S records a 33% reduction in carbon emissions based on Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) methodology. In 2025, INSEE’s average CO₂ emission level was recorded at approximately 337 kg per ton of cement, significantly lower than the industry average referenced during the same period. These figures demonstrate that INSEE does not merely speak about sustainability as a strategic direction, but has transformed it into tangible operational outcomes — from clinker optimization and alternative fuel adoption to the expansion of circular economy solutions.
In addition, INSEE’s biodiversity conservation plan sets the ambition of achieving a net positive impact by 2030. During the 2024–2025 period, INSEE planted and handed over more than 48,000 trees to green the embankments of the Phu My Species & Habitat Conservation Area and the Hon Chong Landscape Protection Area. These efforts help establish sustainable native vegetation suited to local soil and climate conditions while restoring important habitats for the return of the Sarus Crane for foraging and nesting. Beyond ecological restoration, INSEE also supports local livelihoods, helping communities develop economically while fostering conservation awareness. At the same time, the company strengthens professional training for conservation area management teams to enhance long-term sustainable operations.
For INSEE, corporate reputation cannot be separated from responsibility toward the community. In 2025, the company continued collaborating with local authorities and partners to build and hand over 11 houses to disadvantaged families in Kien Giang Province, with a total investment of over VND 900 million. In addition, during the same year alone, INSEE contributed more than 200 tons of cement to support the concreting of rural and community roads, improving safe and sustainable connectivity for residents in supported areas. The value of these programs lies not only in the number of houses or the scale of funding, but also in the way a business chooses to be present in society — quietly, practically, and persistently. More than 4,490 volunteer hours were contributed by INSEE employees through social initiatives, directly delivering meaningful value to communities through human effort and dedication.
INSEE’s brand story is also shaped by the way the company invests in the future. Over the past 18 years, the INSEE Prize has become one of Vietnam’s most prestigious academic platforms for students in architecture and construction. By 2025, the program had reached more than 23,000 students, received over 4,000 project ideas, and successfully implemented 12 projects. Through this competition, INSEE not only encourages sustainable construction ideas but also helps nurture a sense of social responsibility among future engineers and architects.

In 2025, INSEE was once again recognized among the Top 100 Best Places to Work in Vietnam for the sixth consecutive year, while also advancing into the Top 3 within the Building Materials industry category. This achievement demonstrates that INSEE’s reputation is not only acknowledged by the market, but also validated by its own employees — the people who shape the company’s culture, standards, and identity. A truly enduring brand must be a place where people want to stay, grow, and feel proud to belong. Therefore, reputation is reflected not only in external awards, but also in everyday internal experiences, within a safe, professional, and motivating workplace environment. When a brand earns the trust and unity of its employees, it gains a solid foundation to inspire confidence throughout the wider community.
From internationally recognized green cement products and initiatives in emission reduction and circular economy, to housing, education, and community development programs, INSEE is steadily demonstrating that sustainable brand reputation is built through long-term strategic actions. And perhaps that is precisely why the brand continues to maintain its unique position in the market: not loud, but distinctive; not extravagant, but convincing; not only building structures, but also helping build trust for a more sustainable future.
