Recently, at the 2025 Vietnam Sustainable Business Awards Ceremony under the theme “A New Chapter of the Green Era”, organized by the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), INSEE Vietnam continued to be recognized in the Top 100 Sustainable Businesses (Top 100 CSI). This marks the 10th consecutive year INSEE has been listed in this prestigious ranking—signifying a decade of steadfast commitment to a sustainability strategy and affirming the strong capabilities of a building materials company in Vietnam. Notably, this year INSEE also received the special-category award “Top 05 Pioneer Enterprises in Circular Economy & Emissions Reduction 2025,” recognizing its market-leading efforts to optimize resources, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and contribute to the nation’s green growth goals.

With more than 30 years of operations in Vietnam, INSEE has reinforced its position as one of the country’s leading suppliers of cement and building materials, while also becoming a pioneering benchmark for sustainable development in the industry. Guided by the brand philosophy “Build for Life,” INSEE consistently pursues the creation of long-term value for the economy, the environment, and the community. From strategy to operations, all business activities align with the direction of minimizing environmental impacts, improving quality of life, and fostering a sustainable workplace for employees.

INSEE’s portfolio of green cement products is manufactured with advanced technology, meeting stringent standards for quality, structural durability, and green building criteria. INSEE cement products have been certified with the Green Label by the Singapore Green Building Council (SGBC) since 2017. In addition, INSEE was the first cement manufacturer in Vietnam to obtain an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) issued by The International EPD System (Sweden) in 2021. These certifications demonstrate that INSEE products not only deliver performance and durability, but also minimize environmental impacts throughout their life cycle.

A major focus of INSEE’s sustainability strategy is greenhouse gas emissions reduction and leadership in circular economy practices. By applying modern technology and optimizing processes, INSEE has recorded an average CO₂ emission intensity of approximately 341 kg per ton of cement (as of November 2025)—about 48% lower than the industry average of 667 kg per ton of cement. INSEE is therefore among the lowest-emitting companies in Vietnam’s cement sector, reflecting its strong commitment to supporting the national emissions-reduction roadmap.

In parallel, INSEE is a pioneer in applying waste co-processing technology in cement kilns in Vietnam, with more than 16 years of continuous development in this field. By using treated industrial waste as alternative fuels and raw materials, INSEE helps reduce reliance on fossil resources, decrease the volume of waste sent to landfill, and actively contribute to the circular economy model.

Beyond the environmental pillar, INSEE also invests strongly in social value and corporate governance. The company regularly implements a wide range of corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs for local communities—supporting infrastructure, education, healthcare, and social welfare in areas where INSEE operates. A notable example is its pioneering work to promote biodiversity conservation with a long-term vision. INSEE has set a goal to achieve Net Positive Impact (NPI) by 2030, with a focus on planting 110,000 native trees around the plant area and in two biodiversity offset sites. During 2023–2025 alone, INSEE has handed over and planted more than 48,000 native trees, helping green the dikes of the Phú Mỹ Species & Habitat Conservation Area and the Hòn Chông Landscape Protection Area. This creates a sustainable natural vegetation system suited to local soil and climate conditions and supports the restoration of critical habitats for the Sarus crane to return for foraging and residence. Alongside ecological restoration, INSEE also supports local livelihoods—helping communities develop economically in tandem with conservation awareness—and strengthens professional training for protected-area management teams to enhance sustainable operations capacity.

INSEE’s workplace is built on the principle “Seize Opportunities – Contribute with Confidence – Create Value,” encouraging every employee to maximize potential, creativity, and a strong sense of responsibility. This is also the solid people foundation that enables INSEE to implement its sustainability strategy effectively. As a result, INSEE has been recognized for many years in the Top 100 Best Places to Work in Vietnam, reinforcing the appeal of a company that is both sustainable and people-centric.

Through sustainable building material solutions, responsible production, and meaningful community initiatives, INSEE aims to contribute to a greener future for the construction industry and a prosperous, sustainable Vietnam for generations to come.
